{"id":2710,"date":"2014-12-22T10:32:00","date_gmt":"2014-12-22T16:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bbqdryrubs.com\/?p=2710"},"modified":"2023-09-27T11:59:49","modified_gmt":"2023-09-27T16:59:49","slug":"crab-cakes-griddle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bbqdryrubs.com\/crab-cakes-griddle\/","title":{"rendered":"Crab Cakes on the Griddle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">I am falling in love with using my new cast iron griddle on my Weber grills.\u00a0 These crab cakes are one more reason why!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2711 size-full\" title=\"Griddled Crab Cakes in Butter\" src=\"https:\/\/bbqdryrubs.com\/gnne\/2014\/12\/Griddled-Crab-Cakes-in-Butter.jpg\" alt=\"Griddled Crab Cakes in Butter\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bbqdryrubs.com\/gnne\/2014\/12\/Griddled-Crab-Cakes-in-Butter.jpg 980w, https:\/\/bbqdryrubs.com\/gnne\/2014\/12\/Griddled-Crab-Cakes-in-Butter-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Crab Cake Recipe<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1 pound crab claw meat<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1\/3 cup mayo<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1 egg<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">2 tsp Dijon mustard<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1 tsp seafood seasoning (Old Bay, etc)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1 tsp lemon juice<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1 cup seasoned bread crumbs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1 Tbls chopped parsley<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Mix the mayo, egg, mustard, lemon juice and seafood seasoning together and then gently blend the mixture into the crab meat.\u00a0 Add the breadcrumbs and parsley to the mix and gently fold together.\u00a0 You will have a loose mix at this point.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Let the crab cake mixture rest in the fridge for a couple hours to firm up.
